Brochures for each house include its copyrighted images and descriptions as seen on the website. These are for informational purposes and do not license you to build the featured house. Purchase of plans in PDF or AutoCAD format is required for this, as described below.

3D models are in SketchUp format and include full and cut-away models of each house design for ease of study. You must have the SketchUp program installed on your computer to open, view or modify our models. A free version can be downloaded at www.sketchup.com The program is designed to be easily learned. Basic knowledge of its viewing commands will allow exploration of any of our models. Elements within our models may be re-used in modeling new SketchUp designs of your own creation. The renderings on this website are views of the models in SketchUp format. The models let you three-dimensionally experience and experiment with our designs in a way drawings cannot. Our models are meant for presentation and inspiration, and their purchase does not license you to build the featured house. Purchase of plans in PDF or AutoCAD format is required for this, as described below.

Plans in PDF format include floor plans, foundation plans, reflected ceiling plans, electrical plans, exterior elevations, critical interior elevations, kitchen elevations, building and wall sections, details and door and window drawings and descriptions. Specifications are not included, but primary materials are clearly described in drawing notes. Plans are scaled to print as 11x17 sheets and may be reproduced in any number. While plans define the outlines, materials and construction methods of the featured house to a high level of detail, they are not to be used for construction and must be verified, completed and sealed by a local licensed architect or engineer. Purchase of plans in PDF format licenses you to build one house corresponding to or based on the design purchased, as described in the Terms of UseContact us to discuss special rates if you want to build multiple houses corresponding to or based on your purchased design.

Plans in AutoCAD format have the same content as those in PDF format, as described above, but can be modified using the AutoCAD computer-aided design program. AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT of version 2000 or later must be installed on your computer to open or modify these plan files. Purchased AutoCAD plans are downloaded as a single AutoCAD LT 2000 file which can be opened and saved with AutoCAD 2000 or AutoCAD LT 2000 and later versions. Plans are scaled to print on 11x17 sheets and come with printing instructions to ensure intended line weights. While plans define the form, materials and construction methods of each house to a high level of detail, they are not to be used for construction and must be verified, completed and sealed by a local licensed architect or engineer. Purchase of plans in AutoCAD format licenses you to build one house corresponding to or based on the design purchased, as described in the Terms of Use. We strongly recommend buying the plans for any design in PDF format first, to preview it. Please note that upgrading from a PDF to AutoCAD purchase featuring the same design does not license you to increase the number of houses you may build that correspond to or are based on such design. Contact us to discuss special rates if you want to build multiple houses corresponding to or based on your purchased design.
